And she is devastated. If anyone lives near Southsea Portsmouth and could keep a eye out for beloved snowflake bunny?

She is very old, cream, and has had her floral ear fabric and foot fabric replaced. She has a button on each foot. I think she has got a pink hairclip on her ear.

Dd has asd and just lot her gran. This bunny goes everywhere with her. To school everyday. In her school photos! EVERYWHERE! We also went everywhere in Southsea today.

Have you a photo?

Kanaloa · 29/05/2023 23:43

Oh what a bloody nightmare! I used to keep two of DS ‘Raggy’ which was a bear head with a blanket attached. Of course I made the mistake of keeping one safe in the cupboard so when he lost Raggy (although we got him back) the replacement was quite obviously not the same old Raggy.

Did you stop anywhere? Soft play, cafe etc. These things are often lost when sat down since that’s when you’re relaxing, and left behind in the hubbub of leaving. Maybe you could call everywhere you went and ask them to keep an eye out on the list and found box?

TeaKitten · 29/05/2023 23:45

If you are on Facebook post on the ‘family lowdown tips and ideas’ page. I hope bunny shows up!

HeartandSeoul · 29/05/2023 23:47

Is there a local Facebook page you can put a post on? I hope you find it OP.

LostJellycatBunny · 29/05/2023 23:47

Hopefully this shows the ear fabric and a button on her foot

We stopped everywhere! Southsea pier, the beach, the loos by the museum, the overflow car park near the splash park end on the green, then the car park by the hovercraft, every arcade by clearance peir, the funfair, a coffee shop. Everywhere really. Out most of the afternoon and not local to Portsmouth

I run along Southsea seafront in the mornings OP, I'll keep an eye out tomorrow

sailrunski · 29/05/2023 23:57

Is it worth calling the hovercraft, museum etc?

SkaneTos · 30/05/2023 00:00

I can't be of any assistance, but I really hope you will find the bunny!

NancyDrooo · 30/05/2023 00:01

Did you take photos, can you pinpoint when she last had it? Seems odd nobody noticed for ages so maybe she lost it towards the end of the day out?

My daughters special bear wasn’t allowed out in case it got lost and my daughter understood that from well before school age.

Saz12 · 30/05/2023 00:01

Did she find something for bunny to play on? Dd's beloved stinky thing turned up on a rocking horse in a garden centre that DD hadnt been allowed to play on.

Was there something she wanted another go on, or a ride she wasnt allowed on that bunny couldve sneaked onto?

SootspriteSearcher · 30/05/2023 00:06

Can you look back at photos taken during the day to try and pin point when bunny went missing.

Did you drive or catch the train? Could he have fallen under the seats in the car. Put in a pocket of a bag/lunch bag etc.

I would call all the places you visited and ask them to keep an eye out. Maybe join Portsmouth Facebook groups and post in them incase someone has found him.

HecticHedgehog · 30/05/2023 00:10

Can you share on fb Op? Then we can all share it too if we know anyone in the area.

My advice is only useful if it turns up, but my autistic kiddo has a small Teddy whoch goes everywhere (DD is 12, it's a miracle it's still with us) and I sewed a name tag on it. It needs a replacement soon and I'm going to get tags with my mobile number as well to add to it. It went missing once, was at home the whole time but we searched town for 5 days. Noone slept.

Last photo with bunny in was on a bench on Southsea seafront in front of a ice cream booth. Might have lost her on that bench or when we went into the peir. Dd went on the 2p machines then we bought fish and chips from the takeaway on the pier. Dd thinks she had her then, but bunny isn't in that photo

LadyGAgain · 30/05/2023 00:42

Post on the Southsea Facebook group.

fguuhs · 30/05/2023 00:47

I can't be of any assistance but to give you hope my DD lost her jellycat and was reunited 3 weeks later.

Really hoping you can get her back. I agree re Facebook and I'd phone round places that you stopped at.

NurseEssie · 30/05/2023 00:54

Sorry I don't have your bunny but can someone recommend a cheaper version of this damn bunny?

Son only sleeps with it and he's lost about 7 of them now. He's only 11 months so I've many more of these bunnies being lost and they cost $45 here is Aus Hmm

TeenDivided · 30/05/2023 07:37

Hard to do 2p machines holding a bunny, maybe ring them?

Seaweasel · 30/05/2023 07:39

Definitely local Facebook is your best bet.

Clawdy · 30/05/2023 07:46

Keep us posted OP, fingers crossed for you.

LostJellycatBunny · 30/05/2023 14:01

I hope you find Bunny today. I recommend this book on every lost toy thread - Tatty Ratty - brilliant for helping children to imagine the adventures that their friend might be having and why it might come back looking slightly different!
