What to do about item not working?

I ordered a push mower last week. When I assembled the product I encountered a problem. One of the bolts was stuck and I was unable to use the height adjustment.

I eventually had to give in and contact the shop. I was offered a replacement on Friday. I accepted the replacement.

However since accepting the replacement there was no update to the matter. They never said they will send an item again and they never explained how to return the item that is not working.

It's not 4.30 and still no email.

I am think about emailing them and saying I will organise a return and forget about the replacement and ask for a refund. How come communication has stopped on their side.
I find it upsetting.

I emailed this morning asking for an update but there was still not update to the offer of a replacement.

Should I return this and ask for a refund at this stage.

It's a bank holiday so they're probably not working today

Give them tomorrow to reply

Always expect slow service over a bank holiday weekend. I'd wait until tomorrow and just call and ask for an update and a follow-up email

I'm not in the UK and I don't have a bank holiday today.

They said you will get a replacement, do you expect them to bring it instantly? Give it a few days to arrive. Just email and ask for the broken one to be picked up.

They only contacted you on Friday, even if they trade all weekend it's only been 3 / 4 days give them another full working then call them on Wednesday

That's what I emailed on Friday. I was asking for instructions on returning the broken one. I don't want it done instantly. There was no reply to my email on Friday and there was no instructions on returning the broken item. I sent an email earlier today and that was also not replied to.

They also work on Saturdays.

There was a time frame of Friday afternoon, Saturday and today to engage with me and reply to my email but there was nothing.
