I am going to London in July to see friends. I will have Friday afternoon and evening to myself and possibly Sunday morning. I've done all the usual tourist things and places. Any recommendations welcome. I like parks, walking, food, spas, animals, lovely architecture etc.

Where in London?

I'm flexible. I'm staying in Euston but I can easily get the tube to pretty much anywhere.

Walking along the river anywhere. I enjoy the walk from the Tower to Canary Wharf. Or along the canal up behind King's Cross - usually busy with families in fine weather, so no need to worry about walking alone. Or go and look at some of the City churches - check for opening times, as they're usually staffed by volunteers. St Bride Fleet Street and All Hallows by the Tower are good ones to visit - lots to see.

Sunday morning would be perfect for Primrose Hill if it’s a nice day.

Friday afternoon - Battersea Power station then a boat back into town? A mooch around Bloomsbury?

The Hunterian has finally reopened so that’s top of the list for my next visit.
