Can anyone tell me what animal this is? Have had hedgehog in garden, never seen or heard rats but do have decking. What do people think?

Could be a cat?

I can't get the scale of it, but it looks like fox poo to me

Ilkleymoor · 29/05/2023 11:55

Sorry should have put a pencil in for scale. It's on top of a big bird poo so could be part of that? They are as long as you the first joint of my little finger and fairly chunky.

Not fox as doesn't smell.

Looks like goose poo - the solid surrounded by white.

CaptainMyCaptain · 29/05/2023 11:56

Not a rat. They do separate pellets.

Looks like Canada goose to me. Lots on the verge by our local canal and there are lots of geese there.

Ilkleymoor · 29/05/2023 11:57

Partner reckons it's bird - we do have a hawk sometimes

Yep was coming back to say Canada goose in addition to my post above.

Much prefer goose to rat!
