Would this put you off a hairdresser?

I had a consultation and the woman was quite snappy with me, I said “I don’t want any warmth” and she was like “well you’ll be bald then” … 😐. She did a strand test and then never got back to me on whether it had lifted. I chased up and they said they couldn’t get me to the colour I wanted.

I did feed back that I wasn’t happy with the way she spoke to me and that if they weren’t going to do my hair that’s fine but the fact they didn’t let me know was bad service too.

I’ve now found an amazing hairdresser, I looked at what salons he works in and read the reviews and the same woman works there - same town and she has a distinct name. I’m now worried to go incase it’s really awkward.

Oh God that would be awkward, but she's the one in the wrong not you. So go and hold your non bald head up high.

It will be fine. You only had a consultation, it’s not like she was your regular hairdresser.

You’re the customer and paying so go along with confidence. If anything is said answer along the lines of ‘ my choice is to have X as my hairdresser’. Say no more, no need to explain your decision.
