Does anyone have Sky Stream? Is it good?

I've noticed that Sky have a 1 month free trial on Sky Stream.
We haven't had Sky TV for about 5 years (Amazon firestick currently - but I find it clunky to use) i'm very tempted by Stream as it looks very easy to use and much more streamlined.
We would want Sky kids and possibly movies on top of the main subscription.
Just trying to decide if it's worth the price.

We literally started it last night. Had Sky Q for years and it was so expensive. Very happy with Stream seems easy to use

That's fab to here! Is easy to switch from profile to profile? Assuming that kids profiles can be limited, so they don't come across anything dodgy?

Roughly how much are we talking for Sky Stream? My Sky Q contract is up soon and we barley use it but wouldn’t want to be totally without.

What is the difference? We haggle Sky fiercely every time our contract expires but always on the lookout for ways to save a bit. We do like our Sky Q though and as our TV is ancient it is a really easy way of streaming all the other services when we are subscribed to them.

Sky Stream doesn't require a dish!
It's £29 a month on a rolling 31 day contract after the month free trial or you can pay £26 a month if you take an 18 month trial.

We have it and I hate it - find that it’s not intuitive and the lay out is horrible. I miss old Sky!

See we haven't had sky tv for a long time, so hoping that won't be an issue for us, it looks WAY more intuitive than Amazon Fire TV :P

I got it earlier this year, moved from BT as was paying £80 for tv and broadband and this was way cheaper.

I like it. It has all your apps - youtube, netflix etc and easy to navigate.

Well DH has ordered it and it arrives on Wednesday, will let you know what we think of it once it has arrived!

Reviving this thread as curious a year on how Sky Stream is? Vs Sky Q? I've heard the picture but rate is 36bit vs Q at 24bit so picture quality should he way better. Does it judder if internet is heavily used? Lag? Cost less? Has Stream updated since last year?
