Home made potato salad is a winner in this house. Salad potatoes cooked with the skins on, cut up a bit and mixed with mayo and salad cream with chopped spring onions.

Buffalo mozzarella with beef tomatoes. Drizzled in oil with basil. Very nice and easy.

A basic side salad and nice bread.

I don't think you can go wrong with anything though really x

Last one we did chips and dips, celery, cucumber, carrot, and a potato salad made with new potatoes, mayo, natural yogurt, celery, spring onions and lots of black pepper.
In the past we've done mini baked potatoes (par boil new potatoes and then on to the BBQ), corn on the cob with paprika butter, and we had someone do garlic mushrooms cooked in foil on the BBQ.
Love a homemade slaw too!

Not a side but I saw a recipe today for bbq'd pineapple wedges that I'm going to try next time we have a BBQ.

For side dishes lots of salad & coleslaw and maybe a rice or couscous fish.

Fry off chunks of halloumi while green beans blanch in hot water. Add halved cherry tomatoes and minced garlic to the halloumi when it's nearly done. Toss. Add the drained green beans right at the Last minute. Toss. Serve.

BBC's pineapple is wondrous! We use brown sugar with a dash of cinnamon, sprinkle it liberally on the pineapple then onto the bbq so it goes sweet and caramelised. Saw a recipe that just used brown sugar, then you make up a mix of salt and chilli to sprinkle over the caramelised pineapple after it's cooked with a squeeze of lime, so going to try that.

This is yummy 😋 . You can leave the eggs off if you are not a fan but they look great

A lovely, fresh Greek salad is my go to for a bbq.

I am doing a Jersey Royal potato salad with spring onion for tomorrow - usually yum.
