Arriving then departing from airport abroad - Ryanair - do I go through security again?

I've got 3 hours at Charleroi (Brussels) Airport arriving in from one country and then flying back out to the UK. Hand luggage only.

It's not technically "connecting" as booked individually.

I've not done this before - is there a way to just get from arrivals back into Departure Lounge without having to do passport control/customs etc and then walk round to security again?
