Football magazine for a teenager, subscription. Recommendations?

My son is 13 and for the past year, obsessed with football. We're looking for a subscription magazine for him. (Week Junior is apparently babyish now!)

A lot of the magazines in our newsagents seem to be ypung, aimed at 7-12 year olds.

Does anyone have any they recommend? Thanks in advance.

Four Four Two is the only football magazine I've read in years, easily the best I ever read. Would buy for long train journeys in the days before tablets/phones.

I was going to say the same. Definitely FourFourTwo. Look in the sports magazine section in shops rather than children's. Or you can usually get a cheap subscription deal to try it out.

I think that 442 is on Readly - the magazine app
I got it for DH and for electronic subscription, Readly cheaper than buying his favourite magazine each year plus had access to thousands of other magazines
The real plus is that up to 5 devices can access it - so DD used it for Primary teacher and crochet, DD2 for fitness mags. Plus it had archives so v good for crochet projects across multiple issues.

Thank you so much. Four four two sounds like it's the one.

Does anyone know if you can access it on a Kindle?

When Saturday Comes is great, particularly if he’s interested in wider issues affecting the game at all levels. It’s informative and funny and covers well beyond the Premier League.

iOs or Android @gerbo so probably not on a Kindle.

Thanks. My husband has gone to buy 442 for us to try!
