In the spirit of wild unsubstantiated theories, I'm a gonna say the Russians hacked them.

They were always shit so in the spirit of downtrodden Britishness I’m gonna say someone just designed them badly 😁

Disappointingly rational explanation. Even by our current 'nothing feckin works' standards, a 24 hour outage on a national scale is pretty impressive.

They say the reason for them not working is too sensitive to discuss so you may be onto something.

Yep. So either state directed hacking, or a cover up for a vastly overpaid senior manager.

They are striking for better pay.

I was there this morning and it wasn't too bad (though that was at 6:30am so I'm sure it was worse for the people later on). We were about an hour from landing to arrivals hall so really pretty standard.

A denial of service attack (as it is called) I suspect, but that does not need to be from Russians or even their few allies.

Then I wonder why they don't just say that, instead of "it's too sensitive"?
