Yes and no. Normally I wouldn't but I took parental leave to support ND DD who is going through her GCSEs.
To get her anxiety down, we do some day trips.

It's only a half term in England and Wales. It's just a normal week in the rest of the UK.

I'm in central Scotland and we only have Friday and Monday off so no we aren't away on holiday

Not here, now the dc are a bit more self sufficient (9 and 13) and we both work from home we prefer to keep holiday days for proper holidays.
