Caring for dad with Parkinson's

Has anyone here given up/reduced their work to help care for a parent?

How have you made it work for you and your immediate family unit?

My dad has Parkinson's and is deteriorating and I would like to be more involved. Unfortunately he lives a 2-hour drive away.

Thanks for any experiences or thoughts.

My DH has Parkinson's. It's relentless. I'm not sure why you would do this.

I have a family member (distant ) with this condition and I know it's been very hard in them all 😔 I wish you the very best 🙏
