My son is desperate to re-read a book we read a few years ago but neither of us can remember the title and Google is coming up blank!
the story is based around a young boy and his best female friend who both love football.
Boy falls of his bike, finds a football sticker, the footballer on the sticker starts to talk to him and makes his wishes come true. He ends up with a flat full of boxes filled with football stickers that they sell at school.
His parents are separated and his mom spends most days in bed and doesn’t leave the flat, he cooks for himself, dad is busy with new family and boy feels that stepmom doesn’t like him, they have a younger child who boy adores and wishes for a unicorn for her.
His best friends family decide to move away, they try to put people off buying the house.
Both try out for school football team.
