Help! Travelling to France tomorrow but my follow on train is cancelled

Going on Eurostar to Paris tomorrow then on to the South on Sunday morning. Just had an email to say my train has been cancelled but the website is so confusing and I can’t find a way to book a different train 😭

I was gutted when they cancelled the overnight sleeper trains to the Alps.

Have to say I find the SNCF website quite user friendly (and in English) otherwise think Rail Europe and Trainline might be worth a try.

In my Interrailing experience, European train companies are far more functional about cancellations than ours.

Do you feel comfortable telling us where you’re trying to get to? I bet one of us can help you work out what to do.

Thank you both! I got there in the end, paying for an extra night in Paris so am out of pocket but at least we are still going!

Excellent! Ironically while the Swiss trains are very punctual and pleasant, I've found them the least helpful about refunds and changes (and not cheap).

We couldn't travel as my son had tested positive (on a PCR test) for covid. They insisted we needed a certain type of certificate from the GP that doesn't exist in the U.K. and wouldn't accept the proof of test result.

The 11pm sleeper trains to the south of France were great with the beds, we've used them a few times for skiing holidays. Back in the day, my parents took their car on the sleeper trains and they'd split in the night to two destinations.

Enjoy your trip.
