Tell me about Maldon Promenade Park?

I’ve become mildly obsessed with the idea of Maldon Promenade Park as a day out with the DC. Seems like it has lots of elements we love.

But is it worth an hour’s drive?

Would love feedback from people who’ve been.

Love Maldon & love the PP!

It's a lovely big park area there and nice to walk around , but you have to pay for parking there now which isn't that cheap.
They have some nice food places and pubs around.

Totally worth it!

Its nice, don't think id bother an hours drive to go there with my two young boys though. Not worth the stressful car journey - unless something is going on over there then yeah.
It is nice, probably be rammed with weather this nice too.

there is a splash park, excellent playgrounds, you can head to end of prom to see the statue. Ice cream kiosks also in Prom, lots of boats to look at.

the town is small, but lots of nice places to eat - Mrs Sailburys is a good bet.

there is also a small museum in the park.
