New job anxiety

Just after a bit of a handhold and some reassurance really.

I recently applied for a new job within my organisation due to the difficulty I have balancing crazy shift patterns with taking care of my toddler. To my surprise, I got the job! I'm just working my notice period which seems to have been going on forever.

Due to the anticipation, my anxiety is ramping right up. I am full of doubt and worry, struggling to get through every day, wondering if I've made the wrong decision. Sure, I'll have better hours and a tiny bit more money but I'm going to be managing a team I've never met in a different building and department, and getting to grips with all these new systems.

I struggle with a lack of confidence but generally get by on being jokey and nice. I'm worried I'm just going to come across as incompetent. Any advice?

What is concerning you most about the transition from your current role into your new role?

I think managing a team I've never worked with. Also managing people quite a lot older than me! Just don't want to mess up.
