Today, I am Marvook the Paranoid Orangutan.

I went in Waterstones today and looked at all the lovely new books and felt the sadness all over again. I used to love the thrilling anticipation over knowing another one was due to be released and then getting a new Discworld book to read. I feel like all the characters froze forever in time when he died and all my life up to that point they'd been merrily having new magical adventures. I haven't ever felt like that about another author/ series!

It's a little bit ridiculous, mebbe, but everyday something brings him and his wonderful books to mind, and we miss him, even as we enjoying talking over the fabulous characters in Discworld.
