Is there a way to check for differences between two word documents that are supposed to be identical but are definitely not without going through each document word by word? I've found a couple of glaring omissions but I don't doubt there will be others as I was sent a paper copy when they know my sight problems mean I need digital copies which automatically made me suspicious.

Go to Review, Compare, then browse for the two versions of the document and it will give you a version with the differences marked in blue/red.

Yes! I think it's called compare - in the review section?

Thank you Flowers I knew there must be a way but didn't have a clue, just our Local Authority plaing silly beggars again and hoping I wouldn't notice.

That's very off of them - hope it works.

It is when it's a court ordered document that they have doctored to remove provision to suit themselves. I have pointed out the glaring discrepencies that they have said was human error but it doesn't explain how what is issued is neither the court ordered document or any of the six versions that came before it and all the discrepencies directly benefit them and are detrimental to my daughter.
