Smashed items purchased from EBay/Vinted

As title anyone receiving really really badly packaged items from EBay/Vinted?
Or have I just been unlucky?
Purchased a few vases and nice mugs. Quite a few just wrapped in paper in a plastic bag! Or one layer of bubble wrap and in plastic bag!
The sellers really surprised when item arrives smashed. One wanted me to return a smashed into tiny pieces back to them!

Me. Yesterday, I received an item bought on eBay. It arrived in one layer of bubble wrap, smashed to pieces. I am girding my loins to let the seller know.

A friend of mine is a vintage jewellery dealer. The amount of stuff she buys off eBay that has just been shoved in a normal envelope or maybe a bit of thin card is shocking. Some really rare pieces have arrived completely wrecked and beyond repair.

Good luck, my ebay seller wanted to do partial refund. No thanks.
