I want to smell of star anise

Honestly that would be my perfume of choice, I love it. I don’t think anyone is making a perfume of star anise anytime soon. What ‘odd’ things would you smell of if you could?

I also love the smell of horses. I came back coated in it after a day long hack in Spain once, it was lovely. My husband was nearly sick when I sat down next to him 😂

I'm not sure it was the smell of horses he was nearly sick from.

Apparently fishermen use star anise essential oil to mask their human scent. So I suppose you could do the same. I wonder how people would react to a human who doesn’t smell human, but I did read <i>perfume<\i> at a formative age.

I’d like to smell of Battenberg cake 😋

You could definitely get some star anise essential oil and dab it on!

Method lavender laundry liquid is the most divine smell (not very lavendery though).

Oh right lol, no it wasn’t sweat. It wasn’t even warm that day, plus you’d not be able to smell sweat under the smell of the horses 😂

Oops sorry the second link appears to have disappered:

That sounds amazing!!! Thank you. I’ll start saving up 😅 in the meantime, I might just rub a bit of star anise oil about my person.

And again! Try searching for the website Fragrantica then look for Star Anise as the note.

@Skinnermarink I always thought that the original Lolita Lempicka fragrance smelled like star anise or even straight licorice. Has a very pretty bottle too.
