Advise please - starting Sertraline today

Hello all, just want some advice really. I'm starting Sertraline today as I'm recent years i've started to have social anxiety (came from nowhere) and they've just suggested to put me on Sertraline starting at 50mg. Please can I have experiences of this drug? This was my last resort as I've tried everything to fix my anxiety.

When I got mine, I did the first 3-4 days starting at 25mg so not a big shock to system, and then up to 50mg. It was fine. Take first thing in the morning. Always with lots of water, they burn so badly if you don't have enough water to swallow them with. I was fine with them, may have had a few dizzy spaced out moments but not bad ones. Good luck, I really hope they help you.

I had headaches and nausea for the first few days and my anxiety was worse for the first couple of weeks. Did your doctor warn you that you might feel worse before you feel better?
