Stress rash every single day, do I go to the GP?

Every morning when I wake up I have a stress rash on my neck. It's red and tingly, and usually fades around 2 hours after waking up. I've had the rash pretty much everyday for over a year now. Should I go to the GP? I am quite a stressed/anxious person, but the rash even appears on the weekends and when I've been on holiday.

Maybe it’s not a stress rash if it’s appearing on holiday/weekends.
Necklace?
Shampoo?
New pillow?
Pet?
Something you drink before bed?

If you are suffering stress/anxiety it is definitely worth speaking to the GP though, they may prescribe something or refer to some sort of therapy service & you can show them a photo of the rash.

I don't wear any jewellery, and I've changed my shampoo several times so I don't think it's that. I've also changed my pillows since it started to no avail.

I don't currently take any antihistamines but I'm going to get some today to start taking in the evening before bed to see if that helps.

Today I have the day off from work with no plans, I've spent the morning just pottering around and relaxing and I still got the rash. It seems to be getting worse too as it used to just be a small patch on my neck but now it's spreading down to the sides of my neck and chest.

My OH takes 120mg of fenofexadine before bed.

is it itchy? Could it be fungal? Have a look at images of Pityriasis versicolor to see if the shape is similar?

I think I have the same thing. Red blotches, some resembling spots or hives can appear quickly. I think it's stress.

Mine is behind my ears (red and blotchy) and on neck mainly. I take an antihistamine if it's bad but not sure that does much.

Piriton isn't strong enough for OH so he has these.
