Urgent excel help needed before I lob my computer out the window

For some bizarre reason all my excel documents are now opening with every single cell as its own separate page. I use these docs constantly, and at the most, the work can be split by up to two pages.

I've tried page breaks reset, removing print area and putting it back on etc.

Googling just tells me how to put page breaks in, not what to do if Excel decides to split your simple document into 200 individual pages

Screenshot would help OP

By ‘page’ do you mean sheet?

BernadetteRostankowskiWolowitz · 24/05/2023 09:28

I'm trying to upload a photo and my phone is playing up.

So now each cell says "page 102" "page 103" etc.

Oh or do you mean it’s showing the print grid lines separating each cell into what would be a printed sheet of paper? Agree a screenshot would help!!

Also have you checked it’s not just a view problem - view grid lines or something?

Oh my god this really did help!! For some reason the documents are set to print to some random printer on the work network, so I swapped it to the generic min printer and the page breaks have gone!!

You little dreamboat.

Have you checked don’t size to make sure it’s not set huge?

Have you checked paper size to make sure it’s not set tiny?

Have you tried highlighting the whole document, clearing the print area and re-setting it to the document size

Singlemum101 · 24/05/2023 09:32

Font not don’t

Singlemum101 · 24/05/2023 09:33

Arrrggghh why is that massive? Clearly I shouldn’t be offering tech help?!

BernadetteRostankowskiWolowitz · 24/05/2023 09:34

Haha that was funny!

Yep I had tried all that
