Hi,

can you advise re a fair hourly rate to pay a domestic cleaner. I’m not using an agency. Thanks.

My cleaner charges £12.50 am hour and I provide all cleaning products (south east)

Hoppinggreen · 25/05/2023 14:06

£15 here in Yorkshire, she uses her own products

Patchw0rk · 25/05/2023 14:43

Mine's 16 an hour, brings own products.

Ours is £12 an hour, we provide the products. But we also pay the agency £20 a month.

NewAnon · 25/05/2023 14:52

£15 per hour, South London, two hours, one per week.

She works across several of the school parents, all in close proximity to each other (so she doesn't have to travel far for each job).

We also pay her if she's on holiday, or if we cancel. And double her pay at Christmas (as well as getting her a small gift).

We provide products - she specifies what she needs/wants.

NewAnon · 25/05/2023 14:53

Sorry two hours ONCE a week.

Bax765 · 25/05/2023 14:53

We pay £20 in the east of England
