Hi my 13year old had an allergic reaction about two weeks ago. This caused the skin under her eyes to become very red and dry. She has taken her prescription antihistamines but the dryness isn't going. We have tried alveno face cream, cucumber slices, green tea bags (cooled) I don't know what else to try. She is very anxious about seeing the doctor but getting upset about her dry under eye skin. Does anyone have any advice please? Thank you.

La Roche Posay Toleriane Dermallergo is brilliant. Or the Cicaplast.

Epaderm. You can buy it over the counter. My dd uses it under her eyes as they get dry and flaky from rubbing due to hay fever x

It sounds like something is still irritating her skin, what is she using on her face? Any make up?

E45 cream and if that doesn't help, then hydrocortisone 1%. That's what the doctor would probably give you, they have done with me in the past.

Is she regularly using eye drops to keep her eyes moisturised? That will help prevent the skin getting dry again.

Thanks all she refuses not to faff with her skin...cleanses moisturizer and tone and make up daily ...I got her to leave it for 24 hrs but that's all. I will try some of your suggestions thank you x
