What is the physical attribute that makes you go weak at the knees despite all evidence to the contrary?

Height for me. Over 6ft 2 of man and, although I can objectively see that I don't particularly find him attractive, the height just does something for me. It's a terrible weakness.

Just to mix it up a bit, the combination of tanned or darker skin and blue eyes. It’s absolutely bewitching.

Very dark hair, deep blue eyes, a light tan, long dark eyelashes. Also, really nice toned arms with wide shoulders but not big muscles. Toned waist. Not too hairy - I don't like hairy chests. And tall, at least 6ft!

I also love that scandi, blonde haired blue/green eyed viking look too.

I'm not at all fussy really 🤣

I have a real thing about the back of a man’s neck. And muscular thighs - when I first met DH, I couldn’t leave his legs alone!

I had no idea a kilt and boots was a thing, but I like the sound of this.

Not talking especially muscular. Just a nice arm is unbelievably attractive.

I was going to say height & I do like tall men (DH is over 6ft) but the man who had the most physical effect on me was only about 5ft 5”. With him it was his smile & the way he looked at me. I was a puddle on the floor!

Not sure if this counts, as more of a fashion choice, but I LOVE men in knitwear

The broad shoulders, narrow waist, incredible posture thing... I went for an innocent dog walk in a wood recently and came across a very handsome tree surgeon who was casually making felling logs look like the easiest thing in the world - his core strength and posture were <swoons> so incredible. He had chunky boots on and was sprinkled in sawdust holy smokes I need a lie down now. I was thrilled when he liked my dog (my dog is a big collie cross and super obedient but friendly so all the hot guys love him) so I had an excuse to pass the time of day while I tried to keep my eyes in my head played it cool.

This is a really nice thread. People have such different preferences, and many are not what you would expect! I like to think it would translate to women also.

I’m another for strong arms, broad shoulders and dark hair. Strong legs also and just big all round, not super muscly but not quite dad bod.

However, no face fuzz, chest/back hair, or tattoos.

Gingers, big hands, I also like veiny arms. Over 6ft and broad shoulders, toned not overly muscley. Also love the bit beneath a man's tummy button (snail trail?) as PPs have said.

But one of my most intense crushes was for someone very skinny and scrawny and a lot shorter! So it obviously doesn't hold up for me 😂

A perfectly smooth, toned, firm stomach.

Definitely arms, strong and toned rather than overly muscular (and definitely not oiled). Giving in gracefully to balding. Beard that’s just the right length to tickle. A smile that crinkles their eyes, and easily turns into a laugh.
