What is the physical attribute that makes you go weak at the knees despite all evidence to the contrary?

Height for me. Over 6ft 2 of man and, although I can objectively see that I don't particularly find him attractive, the height just does something for me. It's a terrible weakness.

Good wrists. Not bony, not meaty, just right. I get an urge to stroke that little knob of bone that sticks out slightly...

Tallisker · 24/05/2023 17:38

I'm also in the rolled up sleeves and nice forearms camp (I think I mentioned forearms earlier, I usually do). But absolutely not not NOT short sleeves. Yuk.

I quite like lined cheeks when smiling too. Like Sean Connery.

But definitely height and breadth. I like em big, I like em chunky 😍

saltrocking · 24/05/2023 17:39

A grey beard oooffft!

porridgeisbae · 24/05/2023 17:54

I have a type- well built, ideally tall, shaven head and blue eyes. This is because one of my first loves had that look (He was actually a Nazi - I'm not of course.) Unfortunately men with this look don't tend to be very nice, - many have been rough, vulgar, and cruel. I live in hope of meeting a nice guy I find attractive.

Corianderparsley · 24/05/2023 17:55

Wow. This took off! I am also fond of a broad shoulder but it doesn't make me overlook a rubbish or unknown personality or not v attractive other features in the way that simply being v tall does. Over 6ft and I'll certainly have a look, over 6ft 2 and I'll forgive a lot of things!

I have a real thing about the back of a man’s neck
This!
And a voice like Roger Allam

Extra points for a DJ

@BraceletOfWisdom I thought you meant like, Scott Mills, at first 😂

I'm not that weird!

'Tux' makes me shudder. In fact any man who calls it that might as well be wearing a short sleeved shirt and a facial tattoo as far as I'm concerned.

Liverpoolgirl · 24/05/2023 19:24

Tall, dark hair, dark eyes, dad bod and tattoos 😍

Butteredtoast55 · 24/05/2023 20:02

What is it with forearms? A rolled up shirtsleeve on a man makes me weak at the knees.

PimpMyFridge · 23/05/2023 23:57

That 🤣🤣🤣🤣 was for the grey trackies... I'm with you on gingers 🔥🔥🔥

Lol I know, a friend of mine says it’s quite common (among her friends anyway!) something about the ‘shape’ they make 😝

PimpMyFridge · 24/05/2023 22:11

@Twilight7777 ahhhhhh. I see. 🤭

porridgeisbae · 24/05/2023 22:32

Grey trackie type things and the way they accentuate a man, is very much appreciated by gay men, too.

SugarMiceInTheRain · 24/05/2023 22:59

Another vote for dark hair, blue eyes, but also strong, capable hands. I go a bit funny seeing a guy working, fixing things up a ladder if he has nice hands and arms. And don't get me started on if his top rides up, revealing his lower abdomen when he reaches up. fans self

BigPussyEnergy · 24/05/2023 23:10

Ooh yeah, a man being all capable and handy does it! My ex would send me photos of him mowing his lawn or doing DIY as he knew it would give me the gallops. He fixed my shower once and I had to photograph him doing it. All the more sexy as he wasn't generally very interested or skilled at fixing things, he would rather pay someone to do it, so it meant more if he did it himself!

AreMyDucksinarow · 24/05/2023 23:14

Brown eyes and a tattoo sleeve does it for me 😍

Also the sexy but as I call it, the hip bone and lower abdomen literally makes me swoon.

Luckily Dh has all 3…

Tallisker · 24/05/2023 23:16

Oh yes and the undone bow tie, unbuttoned top button, DJ off plus a five o'clock shadow at the end of a summer ball ☺️

Well, as unspeakably repellent garments commonly worn in prisons go, they don’t leave a lot to the imagination…

Abhannmor · 25/05/2023 06:29

Why do they have to be grey though? I'm a bloke and only wear trackies indoors if possible. Think of them as jimjams really. Grey trackies get you slung out of pubs , definitely a Marmite piece of clothing!

PimpMyFridge · 25/05/2023 09:02

@Abhannmor maybe it's the rough and ready vibe... someone who doesn't take care about their appearance in a 'doesn't need to' way - it's the yin to the Yang of the DJ and cuff links vibe. 🤔

It's not because of their sartorial elegance. It's because grey ones, more than other colours, accentuate the cock.

Interesting how different we all are. That would leave me completely cold.

I don't get the 'man in a suit' thing generally.

They look untrustworthy to me!

ChiaraRimini · 25/05/2023 10:31

I'm another forearms girl.
Men would be amazed if they read this thread. They think all women want is a 6'2" gym addict.

AreMyDucksinarow · 25/05/2023 11:05

Forgot the beard 🤦‍♀️

TallulahBetty · 25/05/2023 11:11

IheartNiles · 24/05/2023 11:19

Some people haven’t read the title properly. Dark hair, blue eyes, chiselled, flat stomach is standard stuff and not ‘all evidence to the contrary’.

I like a man with a bit of chub, suggests a convivial nature and a love of life. But they have to be tall which goes against the thread title.

I like natural teeth with the canines that are slightly too big and a bit twisted. Ronan Keating ruined his lovely smile when he had the hideous false teeth stuck on.

No manscaping please. Nothing grimmer than a stubbly chest.

I really hate a big square jaw and bum chin. The Henry Cavills of the world can do one.

I was thinking this! It's like when people ask for 'weird crushes' and everyone replies with Brad Pitt, George Clooney, that Hemsworth chap/s... 🙄

It 'enhances' certain features, shall we say...
