How to get son to fall asleep alone

DS is 10 and he likes to snuggle until he falls asleep, he also likes to watch a movie together at bed time and although I enjoy this quality time together it takes up so much of my evening, I usually end up falling asleep beside him. He also prefers sleeping in my bed than his own, he will sleep in his own bed if asked but only if I’m with him. Sorry really trying not to drip feed here.
I’m tired this evening and I’d just like to tell him to go to bed, but I know it’ll be a whole argument and faff can’t decide if I should power through and do our usual routine or put my foot down.
If it’s worth adding DS has autism

would spraying some of your perfume on his pillow help? It’s such a comfort to have a parent beside you going to sleep I’m sure so if you could replicate it as much as possible it might help! I guess you would have to wean him off the company very slowly. Would he fall asleep to some back round noise? Like a kid friendly pod cast playing or something? It’s a tricky one really because it’s a hard habit to break but it sounds like you def need a bit of time for you naturally! I’m sure more people will be along with more tried and tested tips!
