I've got a mad craving for one but haven't seen them in ages. Where sells them? It's an emergency Grin

Iceland for the blue box ones

But i prefer the m&s ones

dontgobaconmyheart · 23/05/2023 19:09

I seem to be alone in this but I don't like the M&S ones at all. I'd rather have none at all than those.

The originals however, bloody gorgeous. They definitely always have them in poundland or otherwise B&M, Home Bargains, that kind of place.

Lenovolaptop · 23/05/2023 19:11

M&S are own brand but decent

Poundland sells them in packs of 3

LadyMonicaBaddingham · 23/05/2023 19:12

Iceland. I bought some earlier

Samcro · 23/05/2023 19:12

I was hoping this was how do you eat yours

obviously you bin the walnut
bite the top off
lick out the middle
then finish off chock

I eat the walnut but I'm with you the rest of the way in your lick munch method. 😁

I bite the top off, bin the walnut, nibble the chocolate off all the sides so I'm left with the white stuff on the bottom. Then I eat the white stuff and then the bottom.

M&S do a bag of mini whips which are lovely.

Pemba · 23/05/2023 19:57

Why bin the walnut? In that case you might as well have a Cadbury's Creme egg. The walnut makes it imo.

I think it is the cost of the nuts that's made them harder to get hold of though? I remember a couple of years ago seeing just 'whips' for sale, no walnut. You'd probably prefer it. I felt cheated though!

FeigningConcern · 23/05/2023 19:58

Oooo I love a walnut whip. I had the M&S walnut whip advent calendar at Christmas. Yum!

Muncha · 23/05/2023 20:37

Have had a nightmare. DH offered to go.

He came back and said they didn't have any so he had got me an alternative.

A Bounty bar.

Is anyone old enough to remember when the chocolate was piped rather than moulded? It was a travesty when they changed it.

With a walnut inside as well as on top.

HuntingoftheSnark · 23/05/2023 20:52

I'm sure the ones years ago had half a walnut stuck to the inside of the bottom too.

SleepingStandingUp · 23/05/2023 20:52

Poundland. Me and the kids are a box today.

Yep I remember the walnut in the bottom, along with fry's five centres!

JeandeServiette · 23/05/2023 20:56

Bounty?! Is he mad?

VanillaImpulse · 23/05/2023 21:00

I remember coffee and mint ones too at some point (probably in the 80s)
