London weighting

Any London nurses here? I’ve been offered a band 6 job in london but the contract doesn’t include london weighting in the salary on the offer letter!

it’s an inner London teaching hospital (think large trauma centre) so would definitely be eligible for inner london weighting. I’ve emailed HR to query the salary on the offer letter but no reply! Is there any way they could remove the inner London weighting from my salary? I’m confused why it isn’t in the job offer

So is the offer just the basic band 6 starting salary, not the total including LW?
You'll definitely get LW so I'm not sure why it's not on the offer letter?

@musicalold exactly that! The offer letter is just basic band 6- the usual salary starting at 33K. I also thought I would be eligible for inner london weighting (20% uplift). I live in a commuter town so accepted the job as a pay it really in the presumed knowledge the london weighting would pay for my newly acquired train fares! All NHS nurses entitled to london weighting if working within the london boroughs? Really confused why it isn’t in the offer letter
