Maths people please help me work out what I need to put aside each month for the this :

Hello! Roughly each 9 to 10 weeks I need to pay the following for dd new class's. How much should I be putting aside each month to pay. I came out with 690 but that seems very high.

Add together multiply by 5 and then divide by 12

So you pay £700 every 2.5 months - it’s £280 a month. I’d put £300 a month aside and then you have a slush fund for kit/trips etc.

Your total is 700. If that's every 10 weeks then it's 70 a week, so roughly 280 a month but leave a bit more for months over 4 weeks.

£70 a week so £300 a month

That's much more do able.
Using the above calculation I came up with 291 per month as well.

I'm awful at maths but based on a payment every 9 weeks I worked it to be about 338 a month 🤷‍♀️

One is actually know going through the year and one is termly.
370 is per 10 weeks.

What would an average be

So do the others with a multiple of 6 divided by 12 and that as a multiple of 5 divided by 12 then add them together

So, you would have a little extra, as not all are paid that often.

Okay. Can you lay out your costs with how much and how often each one is. Ie which ones are termly (so 3 x a year or 6 "half terms"?)

And what are monthly?

We can't give an accurate average without indication of how often which payments are.

Extra 70 roughly 4 times a year" (my made up numbers)

... do you pay over the holidays? You want to work out the cost per year, then divide it by the number of months youre paying it out over. If its for budgeting then factor in when you need to pay (usually termly in advance).

I’ve got £291.66 pcm.

I went for £320 per month. Averaged out as £700 every 9.5 weeks so 5.5 payments per year (£3,850 in total) across 12 months is £320 a month. Ish.

I am getting £337 per month based on 9 weeks for all

Total Classes £ 700.00

Per week 700/9= £ 77.78

Per Year 77.78x52 = £ 4,044.44

Per Month 4044.44/12 = £337.04
