Ebay - received a request to send a photo of shoes being worn. Is this a 'thing'??

Selling a pair of vans. Big standard, good condition vans, photos of front, back, side and soles of shoes... So clear images.

Just had a message asking if I can send a photo of the shoes being worn.

No details like with socks or bare feet or full photo... Just that.

Is that weird? Why would someone ask for that? I'm bring naive aren't I and this is a saddo asking for them?

Yes you are being naive. Having said that, some women make decent money out of foot fetishists.

CuriouslyDifferent · 23/05/2023 10:25

Seems weird - but there have been some sellers who send miniatures rather than what the purchaser intends.

if you are uncomfortable with showing your feet, post a pic with a ruler alongside for scale purposes, or measure and provide dimensions.

otherwise. It’s possibly a weirdo.

Foot perv alert!

LadyHag · 23/05/2023 10:27

Wow. If they saw my milky white hair prop forward legs with lacey varicose vein decoration they'd regret the request.

They're not heels or anything titliating, just vans! 😮😂

I had it with teenage kids sized wellies

Lisa wanted me to try them even when I said they were 2 sizes too small for me

suspect Lisa has a beard and still lives in his mum’s basement

neverknowinglyunreasonable · 23/05/2023 12:08

Did they specify who they wanted wearing them? Fill them with bird seed and leave them in your garden. Try and get a picture of a pigeon wearing them. That'll put off the perv.

Ruibies · 23/05/2023 12:10

Yes - I had this for some sandals. Did it with socks on and got asked for a no socks photo. Sacked it off at that point, urgh.

LadyHag · 23/05/2023 12:14

I replied they look. Like stock images available... Then got "Can't I see you wearing them? x" back.

Blocked the ebay profile!

Bleuuurghhhhh!
