We've had a card delivered from Connie and Willow, but not to us.

No return address so I opened it and £10 inside.

I've looked for recipient on Facebook and on BT phone book in local area but no joy.

Do you know them so I can return their money!?

Is there a post stamp with info? It might tell you which post office or area it came from

dudsville · 22/05/2023 21:10

Hope you find your answer!

Itwasgoodwhileitlasted · 22/05/2023 21:11

I'll go check for postage stamp right now

Can you not share the name it’s to?

flyingtherag · 22/05/2023 21:12

Connie sounds like an older lady and Willow sounds like a pet 😊

Good luck op

Wouldn't it make more sense to ask your neighbours if they know anyone by those names. Presuming you've lived in the property a while it's much more likely they got the number of the house wrong? Equally who is it addressed to, that might give you more clues than looking for the needle in a haystack.

I guess you might need to give the general area the card was to to narrow it down? And then I would probably ask people to tell you who they sent it to as the test for if it's them.

If you can be bothered you could knock on the door of the transposed street number? I get quite a lot of post for NumberXZY Street Name instead of NumberXYZ Street Name.

ellebelli · 22/05/2023 21:32

Do you have a local facebook Street/town group? put it on there? I have seen posts like that on ours, or lost items found getting returned by using the groups.

stbrandonsboat · 22/05/2023 22:25

My neighbour's cat is called Willow 🤔

longtompot · 23/05/2023 11:37

How intriguing. Do you have a road in your area with a similar name? We live on (as an example, not the real road names) Seaview Road but we have a road across town called Seaside Road and have had some issues with deliveries going to the wrong address.
