What garden toys for 5 and 8 year old?

Our garden toys need a refresh. No room for big things like trampoline, climbing frame etc. We will keep the mud kitchen and get rid of the far-too-small sandpit. What do your primary aged children play with in the garden?

Mine are slightly older and I was going to start a thread last night. I'm considering outdoor table tennis, swing ball and pop up tennis nets this year. Haven't refreshed in years. Trampoline stays but is old!! Interested to hear ideas.

Offcuts of wood, sanded smooth. You can make truck ramps, shelters for toys, skittles, etc etc

Picnic bench

Tent / blanket shelter

Storage box for hoops, balls, trucks, dinosaurs etc

Pot or trough for growing herbs

We got years out of swing ball. Helps that they can play with either together or alone.

My two still love the sand pit, it's small but on legs.

Bubble ball - google it you won't be disappointed

Thanks for all the ideas. I am thinking swing ball could be good, and I like the idea of giant games. The bubble ball looks great too.

Tents that they can use as dens, definitely swingball, if you have space for a swing frame you can change it from swing seat to trapeze to ladder to basket swing- but at 5 and 8 you might be past that.

We got amazing traction one year with some old plastic pipes digging out a river system- the mud was PHENOMENONAL.
