My driver ID photo 😂

So had to get a new photo id / driving licence renewal ( passport expired also )
Went to post office with my renewal letter . The counter staff person took my photo after telling me to tuck my hair behind my ears and adopt a passive expression .
She showed me the result , OMG I'm going to spend the next 10 years of my license looking like a right grumpy cow , full on like a police criminal line up / have you seen this person type of look !

I once had a passport photo that definitely made me look like a terrorist.

I don’t think anyone likes their passport/ licence photo, my 13 year old recently had to do hers and she really hates it 🤣

yup the clerk took mine 4 times and each time was worse :(.
i can't wait to try again.

The vicar who signed mine laughed at it it was that bad- this was many years ago and have a slightly better one now but think most peoples are horrific!

The thing is I'm at an age where in 10 years time I'm probably going to think it's flattering !

I was so glad when my driving licence expired recently, because when i had my photo taken some amusing idiot had placed the teeniest of black dots on the glass in the Sainsburys photo booth which was invisible on the preview but which came out as a large mole when the photo was actually printed. And this was my chance to get rid of it... except the bloody DVLA didn't give me the choice to add a new photo!

My DD looked like she was having her mugshot taken after being arrested high on drugs. She was only 2 years old!

Got a new one 18 months ago, and she looks like she's got 2 black eyes!

I've just had mine renewed and I look disappointed with life my husband said, you're not meant to do a toothy grin but you don't have to look quite so defeated.

I spent £15 on three Photo Booth attempts 10 years ago. This year DH took a picture which took ages before I was happy and the passport website accepted it.. I always put my contacts in, do my hair and make up and smile with my eyes. I’m not having a bad picture for 10 years (I know it’s shallow!)

I took my own photo for a licence renew and thought I looked pretty good, I stood in front of a white wall.
When it arrived all that changed. I'm quite pale with white hair and dark eyes. All my features and hair are the same colour as the wall so it looks like a square of white paper with 2 black dots on it.
My last one Dh told me I looked like Myra Hindley.

I once had a new passport make me look like Monica Lewinsky, my most recent one makes me look like Charlize Theron in Monster, only my skin is greyer.
I’d rather be Monica again!

I didn't know if we were allowed to mention names but I now look like Rose West.

On my last passport dh took the photo on his phone, it looked absolutely fine, was happy with it. Dear god, I don't know what the did to it but I looked like I had been tango'd!! I look really orange, with very blonde hair and lots of make up! The original did not look like that at all! Honestly I look like an extra from Towie! Although better then the one I had when I was 15 where I look like a vampire!!

My friend had her 2yos passport photo rejected because "the eyes are too close together". When she phoned up and asked if they were expecting plastic surgery before they'd accept the photo they backed down and accepted it. 🤣

In mine I definitely look like a zombie. I made the mistake of using it for my chaperone's licence once. At least it broke the ice with stroppy teens who didn't feel they needed looking after when I showed it to them.

It was more relaxed back in the mid eighties when I had my first one done.
I am very titchy and didn't think know to raise the seat with a vigorous swivle.
Consequently, I only appear in the bottom third of the picture, with 3 feet of curtain above me.
It was accepted and I still have it.
I was 18, but looked no older than 12 😂

these days you have to electronically use your passport photo or the counter staff @ po take your photo. No photo booths allowed.

You can use a booth @Justleaveitblankthen along with the picture you get a code for a digital copy of the picture which you input when you’re completing your passport application online.

I normally look like an ogre in photos

I looked like a fucking guppy in my last driving licence.

Thankfully fish in charge of a vehicle is not a crime.
