How to arrange furniture?

Please help me in how to arrange my daughters room.

I've attached a pic of the floor plan with current furniture layout and also a picture of the show home room.

She has a single bed, chest of drawers with TV on top, wardrobe and a toy box.

The room is 12'3 x 10'2

I would try things to get a feel for what works / doesn't. Keep moving things around till you find something that fits and works!

I would probably move the bed down so it's in the centre of that lefthand wall so it can be accessed from either side, or next to the window in the corner facing towards the door.

Keep the toybox where it is. Put the wardrobe or desk to the left or right of the bed.

Hard to say without knowing sizes.

Wardrobe is 92cm x 192cm
Drawers are 90cm x 90cm

Just seen your sizes, will the wardrobe fit in the alcove?

roomadvice · 22/05/2023 13:31

@Whatevergetsyouthroughthenight yes it would but then I'm stuck where to put the drawers & bed so she has enough room to play but still see the telly in bed

I'd also do wardroom immediately on the right of the door. The TV in the alcove and bedside the wall with the drawers / toy box beside it.

Bed under the window with tv opposite on drawers.

Toy box next to bed, space to play between bed and wardrobe
