Does anyone know when they're announced?

I though judging was on Sunday and the cards went out in the wee small hours, and then the announcement was Monday morning - ie before the Royals, VIPs and celebs start arriving this afternoon.

Nothing I can find online yet. Have I completely misremembered when they come out?

I have a tangential connection to a garden this year, and am impatient to know if the judges liked it!

From the telly coverage, I do think some of the bigger gardens this year have jumped the shark a bit. But the Japanese one looked lovely!!

Judging on Monday, results Tuesday morning I think?

I always like the ones with ruins, or streams, the wilder looking ones.

Ah - I'm 24 hours too early!!

I think some of the "wilding" has gone a bit far this year, as has the sheer size of construction.

But that's based on just early glimpses, so perhaps its not as extreme as it looks!

It did leave me wondering a bit what the carbon footprint of an event such as this is like - what with so much being out of season, the vast amounts of construction, the overproduction (what happens to the vast amounts of stuff that are produced but not brought, or are brought but not used because not quite perfect?)

I mean, I know it's always lavish and a quest for perfection, but somehow it seems to have gone beyond "wow" into just excessive
