I’ve just sold a TV on eBay for £500 yesterday. The buyer paid after a few hours.
I messaged the buyer to arrange collection (as per stated in the listing) but I have not heard back.
should the buyer for whatever reason not respond and I need to refund the money how does it work? I’ve searched but couldn’t really find any result. I have had £440 come into my bank account today (missing £60 due to fees). Do I stump up the £500 or do eBay cover the fees that they took in the first place? I’d rather they just kept the money in my eBay hold til the sale was completed.
