Dc has always suffered with their skin. And flares up regularly. Gp has tried a dermatology referral and was rejected.
I cant see my dc suffer. Currently uses Epaderm to moisturise and wash with.
Oilatum in bath and Eumovate steriod cream.
Nothing in the home or food has been changed.
So looking privately. We're south but willing to travel.
Reccomendations and prices please.

@PrezelwithMarmite I'm also looking for a dermatologist for my DC.

Did you have any luck?

Could you try a paed allergist? We saw one at guys hospital on nhs but people like Prof Adam Fox have good reputation

Can recommend Dr Karolina Gholam at the Cromwell in London. We saw her for DS1 when he had molluscum and eczema simultaneously and was utterly miserable, and she sorted us out and was so cheerful and positive when I was at the end of my tether.

I just rang up, made an appointment, said we were self funding and it was £200 I think - may have gone up in the last couple of years.

@Xiaoxiong Thank you - we went to see Dr Gholam on your recommendation :).

DD came away feeling positive with what she needs to do to keep her symptoms under control. Thanks!

Oh @bogoffeternal I'm so pleased she was helpful, wishing your DD the best and hope she feel better soon! Isn't it nice sometimes just to see someone and feel like - she's taking us seriously, we've got this, it will be ok. That's definitely what we felt, anyway.

Hello all, glad to hear that things are on the up. My daughter just has been prescribed eumovate for eczema. We put it on her and she squealed the place down- is this normal? Does it sting? She’s 13 weeks and as such can’t tell us.
Thanks in advance.
Tim
