Just a light hearted thread
Are there anything from your ils/ friends etc that are now rules in your family that you had never thought of before?
My family, is massive, and there is no hierarchy. I have cousins older than aunties. We All just call each other by their first name. I wouldn't dream of calling my auntie Emily, Auntie, as she is 12 years younger than me, for example.
My husband's family all call each other auntie and uncle where they are older than them. Aunt, neighbour friend, anyone. I encourage this even in my own family for anybody older than them, whether or not they are their aunty etc.
