Newcastle bar recommendations for tonight please!

Have never been here before. We have a restaurant booked in Jesmond and are planning some many drinks in the city centre afterwards.

We like:

Rock/indie/dive bars
Gay bars
Cheesy 80's bars

Don't like:

Anything flash/WAGtastic
Spoons/Yates type chain bars

Any tips greatfully received 🍷

Idk if Trillians is still going, that used to be the rock place.

You want the area by the Centre for life - gay bars galore! Trillions used to be awesome. Not sure if it’s still open now though!

You need Sgt Peppers on Vine Street, brilliant atmosphere, great music, very cheesy 😂
