Song was from somewhere around 2007-2010. It was by a black American artist and was an up tempo song about a guy wanting his girl to come over and he's asking her to pick him. The video is set in a street in the suburbs and the guy is singing in an open garage doorway with a band behind him while the woman struts across the street towards him wearing black Spandex and thigh high boots. One of the verses has a rent-a-rapper who I guess wasn't available for the video because a ginger cat plays them.
I was trying to describe it to DH but I can't remember the name or how the song goes and he didn't have a clue.
