Slim fit, plus size, summer trousers

Yes this is niche.. but grateful for any and all suggestions

I am a short size 24 and most of the year I live in m and s Eve jeans and slim fit cords. Now summer is here, and the cargo and chino pants I have foolishly bought are too baggy to be flattering.

Does anyone have any go tos?

Skinny jeans make me look like a ballon on two parsnips so that’s not a goer

I am short and plus size and have the same issue with baggy chinos. Instead I wear wide leg palazzo trousers in the summer.

I don't have any solution to the chinos but you have my sympathy and I hope this bumps your thread.

I think this may be one of the great unsolvables… or possibly a gap in the market.

I just bought these from M&S. Am a size 16 . Was impressed with how flattering they were. Possibly not a slim fitting as you're wanting but I thought they were very flattering. Not too tight but not too baggy either. I usually live in slim jeans too.
