Covid - Anyone Had A Sore Mouth?

I’m feeling generally grotty with Covid but one of the worse things is my mouth - it’s incredibly sore & really bringing me down. Started off with gum pain & also one of my sockets but my tongue is now the most painful. If feels like I have burnt it really badly & it’s just not easing off. I have a dentist appointment next week. Tried Corsodyl which numbs the gum/socket pain but seems to aggravate my tongue. Also been doing warm salt rinses. Just wondering if anyone had this & if so roughly how long did it take to clear up? Guessing I may end up needing antibiotics if it’s not Covid related although it did start at the same time as my cough etc.

I had that and I think it took a couple of weeks to clear up. I also had a lot of mouth ulcers

The first time I had Covid in 2020, I had several ulcers in my mouth.

My son’s main covid symptom was a massive mouth ulcer. He was prescribed something from the doctor for it.
