I have volunteered to do a slideshow of photographs for my Aunts upcoming birthday. Just something to play in the background.
In my rush to get a better role than balloon arch blower upper, or some other such shite, I forgot that I'm an old gimmer who doesn't know how to do this.
Photos are coming from a mixture of physical photos which I'll need to scan in (i would also like to brighten and touch up some of the very old ones) and others from peoples' phones, stolen from Facebook etc.
What is the fastest easiest way to compile them all?
I was going to scan the oldies in and put them in a file on a pen drive and email the phone ones I have to myself and save to the same file on my laptop. Again, have others email me their photos and I'll add these too.
In the olden days, you could then set windows to play them in a sideshow.

Is this how it still works? Is there a better way? Help a granny out 👵🏼
