She begged for money for the libel action. Revelled in taunting Martin Daubney. Linked to her private PayPal. Time ran out and it looks like she's in trouble with CCJs and now a possible fraud case.

I think this is part of the problem tbh.

People just see Tory and leap to "grr bad" so will support anyone trying to harm a Tory, even though the person they're supporting is paid by Conservative think tanks and Conservative right wing press.

Same with Hopkins.
"Grr Hopkins bad so therefore person suing Hopkins is good."

No, it's Lee Anderson in particular that I cannot stand. He really doesn't meet the minimum ethics to be an MP and Jack Monroe is not the only person looking at taking legal action against him. He's also got a record of being successfully disciplined for bad conduct in the past.

Jack is an expert scammer. It would not surprise me if she has grifted hundreds of thousands of pounds worth of donations, only to not follow through with the promised result. Be it court cases, Patreon rewards, Kickstarter books or just plain sob stories (boo hoo, I can’t afford shower gel… here’s my PayPal deets).

She is Teflon. Gets away with it because people think “she’s a staunch leftie and sued Katie Hopkins… she MUST be one of the good guys”.

She has four current CCJs and one time-expired one, all unsatisfied. They are all public record, you can look them up on https://www.trustonline.org.uk/ but it does cost money to do so.

The most recent one is because someone subscribed to her Patreon, didn’t receive the rewards that were promised and asked for a refund which was not given. The person was then blocked on Twitter so issued court papers. JM didn’t pay or defend it, so it became a CCJ. She still hasn’t paid it so the person has now got a court order where she must appear in court to explain her finances. It’s contempt of court if she doesn’t show up.
