How much are you willing to pay for decent -dare I say 'naice' ham?Supermarkets are taking the piss with weekly price increases.
£4.60 is for 250g of Wiltshire ham, so yes of course there's cheaper but didn't it used to that the offer was 2 for £3 and now it's 2 for £5?

Ham has always been expensive as a sandwich filler, if you're going to have it all the time, it's never been a cheap option but a tip I got from here is to buy the big packs of offcuts from Aldi or Lidl. 400 g for just over £2.

It's packaged as value ham and admittedly, I'd never looked at it before, but it is naice ham, it's just a bit scrappy, although you can try and choose a pack with some actual slices in if you want it for sandwiches. Also good for omelettes, quiches etc.
