Free app to make and edit videos

Hello, hoping to find a free app that I can use to edit and create short videos, with captions and a music track in the background. Does such a thing exist? Thanks in advance!

clipchamp. It's a microsoft program so perfectly safe and it's really easy to use. I've used it for a few things at my school recently and really like it.

DS uses Capcut to make and edit videos for social media. It looks quite good and easy to use.
