What do you eat in a day to get the recommended 30g of fibre, please?

Probably I made it today.

12 g, pint of pea soup
6 g, whole wheat tortilla
5-7 g, home-made mincemeat pie (approx 3, wholemeal flour)
2.6 g, 1 small banana
2.5 g, 100 g mixed veg (cabbage, carrot, broccoli)
2 g, 1 small potato
0.7 g, 50g salsa
0.6 g, 50 g pasata
0.4 g, 200 g fruit juice

Things that don't count: pint of milk, cheese, cream, chocolate, wine, breaded chicken, yogurt, wine, tea

Chia seeds have 6g of fibre per tablespoon and I have 3 + tablespoons a day (in yogurt and smoothie)
1.9g in the ground linseed in my yogurt
I’ve had 5 dates today, a quick Google tells me that’s 2.2g
5g almond butter 0.5g
fruit and veg smoothie, not completely smooth so still with whole fibre -no clue how much though.
2.8g in the 50g of petit pois
1.5g in the carrot
4g in the Quorn mince.
2 Asda hash browns 3.1g
2.4g in the crackers I had.

thats 38.6g then add whatever was in the smoothie. & the 2 spoons of nuts&seeds I had on my yogurt

This is what I ate today that had fibre I could measure. It’s fairly typical though I usually have more salad at lunch time. I haven’t included the protein I ate.

Breakfast
nutty museli 3.9g
chia seeds 3g
mixed berries 3g
ground linseed 1g

Lunch
rye sourdough 2 slices 6g
carrot 1.7

Dinner
sweet potato 3g
french beans roughly 3g
raspberries 3.5g

Snacks
2 oatcakes 2.2
peanut butter 1g
nuts mixed roughly 2

So 33.3g for the day.

I've never measured, but I try to eat wholegrain everything: pasta, bread, rice, couscous. Also grains like oats, bulgar wheat and barley (not pearled) etc. Also try to eat as much veg as I can. Half a plate is the ideal. Nuts, seeds, legumes and pulses regularly possible too.

My guys are much happier when my fibre comes from leafy green veg rather than wheat. No allergy, just feel calmer and work more ahem regularly.

Especially spinach, cabbage and celeriac.
