Every driver should be made to sit on a horse (glued on if needed) and ride down a road they absolutely do not want to ride on but have no choice because it's the only way to get to the bridleways.

I'm willing for them to be wrapped in bubble wrap and on a very safe horse because I'm nice and it would still make my point that passing wide and slow is for a reason.

That reason becomes very clear when you are on top of half a tonne of car squashing animal that might freak out if you speed by with inches to spare.

I would agree but also raise driving age to 20. It was 17 when most school leavers left at 15. Now education is a minimum of 18, kids don't need to drive.

See my earlier comment on the phrase "grown adults". As opposed to what other adults? The half grown ones? At what point are we grown, most adults will admit to not feeling as grown up as they expected to feel....

This is Excellent, but I would also add that very able bodied adult be made to spend several months riding a bike on busy roads without cycle lanes and through busy towns with lots of parked cars with doors that suddenly open as you cycle pass, before they are allowed to have a full driving licence.
